Youth Pastors, Living Waters Chapel
Andrew Wilgus leads the Oasis Youth Group alongside his wife, Allison. He carries a compassionate and gentle heart that creates a loving, judgment-free environment where youth can discover more about who they are and build Christ-centered friendships. Andrew is deeply committed to cultivating spiritual gifts in young people in a way that is responsible, life-giving, and practical.
He has partnered with Jesus to transform today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders and warriors of the faith—young people who will carry His name and His culture into every sphere of life.
Andrew holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Spring Arbor University and a Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University. He was also trained in the responsible use of spiritual gifts at Generation One Church, where he served for several years on the prophetic ministry team. He currently operates his own private practice, Wilgus Counseling, where he works as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Andrew uniquely blends biblical wisdom, prophetic insight, and clinical counseling to deliver God’s healing and growth to the lost and hurting.
Outside of ministry, Andrew enjoys strategic board games, reading, and spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends.
Allison Wilgus is a blend of boldness and compassion—both fiery in spirit and nurturing at heart. She is passionate about building deep, authentic connections, teaching others about their identity in Christ, and helping people break free from strongholds that can hinder their ability to hear God’s voice. Much like Marianne, Allison's open and honest communication style allows her to share personal experiences in a way that others can relate to and apply in their own lives.
Allison is a graduate of Ferris State University, holding a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She carries a deep desire to pursue justice for the Kingdom of God and to walk alongside others as they grow in their relationship with Him. She has a special love for children and trusts that God will bless her and Andrew with a family of their own in His perfect timing. Allison enjoys singing, writing Christian rap, staying active, spending time outdoors, hosting game nights, and cherishing quality moments with her husband, family, and friends.
Together as a team, our heart is to cultivate a safe and welcoming space where youth can come as they are. Our youth group exists to build Christ-centered friendships, foster spiritual growth, and encourage leadership development. This is a vital time in their lives—a season where they need strong community, opportunities to discover who they are in God’s eyes, grow in spiritual maturity, and, of course, have fun along the way.
